I nearly died from laughter. David Zucker is directing and one of the many screenwriters is Kevin Smith
look for apperiences from
Simon Cowell, Leslie Nielson, and Jacko.

Looks promising enough...I loved one, part two tried to hard and delivered to little. But Zucker and Smith are enough to get me in the door.

The Simon and MJ stuff was really funny.

It looks like it could be pretty could. The part with Leslie Nielson rotfl I'll echo everyone else's comments that the first one was great and the second one was a disappointment. I hope number three is better!

It looks like it could be good. And I agree that 1 was good and 2 was terrible. Looks like there are a few good cameos.

I thought most of the trailer looked really lousy. Especially the spoofs of The Ring and Signs (Whoa! He hit his head. Thats kinda funny. What!?! He hit his head again!?!? Holy crap! Comic Gold!)

Great to see that Zucker is taking over.....so what happened to the Wayans?

The first run thru was apparently called: "Scary Movie - Episode 3: Lord of the Brooms"

and was a spoof of LoTR, HP, and SW films...

With the Wayans, etc like the first 2... then there were some licensing problems or something, and now as everyone knows, the Wayans aren't in it...

A couple parts look funny BUT i think the Wayans one would have been much more interesting...

oh well.

I really enjoyed the first two films, and I'm interested to see how Zucker will handle things.

I heard Kevin Smith left the project?

Kevin Smith polished one of the script's drafts. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't even think he's credited (he wasn't credited for Overnight Delivery or Coyote Ugly where he actually did more, so why be credited here?).

Personally, I'm happy with the Wayans brothers leaving and I'm happy David Zucker became director. The first one was enjoyable, but the second one was awful due to too many jokes involving dicks and farts that were just out of poor taste and were simply not funny. And this is a fan of National Lampoon's Van Wilder speaking here.

The trailer is hit-and-miss. I thought the MJ and Leslie Nielsen parts were hilarious, but everything else was "blah" or just not funny. But it can't be as bad as Scary Movie 2, but if it is, may God help David Zucker's soul.

This looks better than both of the first two.

Looks way better than the 2nd one so far. Hopefully this will make up for the horrible, horrible SC2.

Funny trailer with the exception of the matrix bits, already seem tired and the movie is a few months old.

Anyone who likes Scary Movie 2 needs to check themselves.

I was entertained for like 7 minutes in that movie.

Thanks Rypro. I'm looking forward to this one. Hopefully it doesnt suck like SM2 did.

I think I'll pass. 1 Scary Movie was enough for the world.

Was that really Michael Jackson? if so, I'm actually shocked that he would do a child molestation joke? How the hell did he agree to that?

Hmmm, you must be right. It makes much more sense that it was a guy with some makeup on.
That's kinda sad that it's pretty hard to tell the difference between Michael Jackson and someone in a Michael Jackson mask.

Just saw it last night before Kill Bill. It rocked. The whole theatre was in an uproar after the trailer. I think this will rock for sure. Can't wait till Oct 24!!
