this soundtrack has 4 new Dylan "recordings" and the rest are covers (some new) of Dylan tunes.

It's a new movie where BD is a struggling and mysterious musician and co-stars Jeff Bridges, John Goodman & Penelope Cruz among others.

the Limited Edition bonus disc has 6 Bob Dylan songs from the upcoming reissues of his albums in 5.1 surround.

anyone heard any of this yet?
I've heard the two new songs by Dylan "Dixie" and "Diamond Joe" and their both kinda slow country-sounding.

The general consensus from the people on the Bobdylan.com board is that the soundtrack is a ripoff with most of the covers done by cheap Spanish bands, and most of the good songs from the movie are not included.
