Best acoustic performance?

I've gotten on an acoustic kick lately and trying to find good acoustic performances of popular songs of all types.

The one that caught my ear was Matchbox 20s Piano acoustic of 3AM.

Anyone have any suggestions to some good acoustic performances to check out?

Tesla's CD "5 Man Acoustic Jam." A great mix of Tesla favourites and good covers.

Alice in Chains MTV unplugged disc is great I think. No B-sides or covers like the Nirvana one, but is was the last live performance as a band.

NO NO NO

This is the ONLY acoustic album you will ever need. It might lack emotional depth, but it is the most insane live guitar recording EVER. You have never heard people play the guitar this fast before.

Amazing.

Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola: Friday Night in San Fransisco

I beg you to buy this masterpiece.

The rest of the albums recorded by this trio are amazing as well. More depth but not quite as raw and energetic as Friday Night.

Dig up the acoustic version of Queensryche's "The Killing Words". That is a great song and the guitar tone on it is awesome.

I agree. Nirvana's is a VERY close second, but the Alice in Chains one is my favorite.

There's a good bootleg running around Ebay of their unplugged performance. "The Lady Wore Black" was exceptional.
