Small/slim powered sub? (for wall-mount stereo)

I'm looking for a narrow-profile powered sub for a relatively small room. Just want to fill out the sound, and I know it won't be as beefy as a full-sized cube. It will hook up to the JVC VSDT6
(unless anyone else can recommend a better wall-mount stereo!).

So, any suggestions on a relatively small/slim wall-mount sub? Thx!

Never seen anything like what you are looking for. The smallest sub I know of is the Sunfire Junior which is about 9 in square.

Just to clarify, I'm looking really low-end here, for background music in the gameroom. Nothing in the class of a sunfire! I'm talking more like KLH, Aiwa, JBL, etc....

Thx. Still a bit big (14x13x19). Although it probably sounds decent for a low-end sw, if it's big brother (the SAWM40) is any indication...

While I'm here--any recommendations on a wall-mount stereo minisystem? All I need is a CD player (and maybe a tuner) plus speakers. I already know to avoid the Fisher units.

Check out yamaha's systems. I had a yamaha micro system for many years and loved it. Yamaha now has the TSX series which is supposed to be amazing.

Also the best sub in a small box in my opinion is Aperion Audio's 8" sub. Its a foot cubed, very classy, and accurate bass. Also if you like they offer A stock just as good just someone tried it out and returned it with the 30 day trial period for 25% off.

Follow up to my own query: I went with the Yamaha TSX-15 (great deal for $199 at J&R) and they also had a great deal on an Acoustic Research sub for $99. 8" driver, size is about a 1 ft. cube, downward-firing w/flared slot, 120w, on/off, standby/auto-on, selectable crossover (50-200 hz) and level control. Nice bass, decent levels, sounds pretty solid with the crossover at lower levels (around 60 hz). A bit more sub than I was expecting for $100, and fits great with the Yamaha system. (Even better, I live a few stops from J&R for same-day purchase!)
