What did I miss?

Ok - I've been out of the loop for awhile and I know I missed some good stuff here and there. I used to just buy everything, but now it's been so long that I don't even know what's come out since the last time I bought anything. :/

My last Korean DVD purchase was Phone
My last Chinese DVD purchase was Infernal Affairs
My last Japanese DVD purchase was Returner

So - if you can just tell me what has come out since then - I'll go buy it. Make note of anything that's a must-buy. Thank you.

All I've bought since then:

Korean, Yesterday DTS. Got a bunch on pre-order though.
Japanese, nothing original, a bunch of good US Film SEs though. Ronin DTS, Terminator DTS, a bunch of superbits.
HK, some Show Brothers, PTU was pretty good, remastered versions of Hard Boiled DTS & 16:9, East is Red, Swordsman 2, and a couple others.

I've got Taxi 3 coming. Can't find Hero extended for preorder anywhere but I didn't look real hard.

Nothing good from Korea, The Phantom Submarine, Soul Guardians, and R U Ready. The first two were only $8. The last $13.

The Lee Chang Dong collection was just recently released, it includes Green Fish, Peppermint Candy, and Oasis. The first two have been OOP I believe. These are all highly regarded films. yesasia has the set for $50 with free shipping.

Hard Boiled remastered is a must buy, PTU was pretty good too. On the korean tip, saving the green planet is getting a lot of praises...

Some sites seem to have Ju-on for sale in July, Ebay seems to have some copies now that are Region 3 , I also highly recommend Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, a movie definately worthy of the hype it got.

My friend was telling me about a Korean horror film that just came out in the theaters not too long ago - it supposedly beat out all Hollywood movies at the box office. What would that be? He couldn't think of the name.

Is this some sort of masochistic ritual I don't understand. Personally, I tend to avoid crap, not buy it.

It's more preemptive than anything else - I checked reviews of most of those movies and thoght they looked good, but just in case someone was about to go "Oh, dude! Why did you get that piece of garbage??" I used to order everything and then give reviews for everyone so they could know what to avoid... I haven't been posting in this forum much lately though.
