Ok...Friends Season's 1-3 have had the same exact style packaging...only different colors....Season 4 is no different except for one thing....

On seasons 1-3 the fold style case folds into a book style case and has a "Season ()" marking on it with pictures of the cast. It looks really nice on the shelf.

Season 4 does the same thing, except it has no "Season 4" on it. Now it looks out of place on my shelf. It is just this kinda of thing that pisses off a collector and plans on getting the whole set.

Anyone else kinda annoyed by this?

It doesn't really bother me. I do agree they should be consistent with season sets but this is a very minor difference.

i never even noticed it until i read this post...so i guess it doesn't bug me that much..though i don't see why it isn't on there

I haven't gotten it yet, but I like how the other three look next to each other. I think it will bother me. I'm picky on small details like that too.

I noticed it right when I put it next to the others. I was kinda pissed too just because I don't see how they let things like this happen - it's sloppy production.

I really like the way the other's look next to each other...No you got this brown/tan set next to them with no season number. It is being nit-picky...but I dont see why they didnt put Season 4 on the cover binding.

Turn the package around and look at the other spine. That side matches.

Bumping this up for the release of Season 5. Looks like they really just messed up with 4 cuz S5 has the "5" on the disk packet spine just like the first 3.

Just thought I'd drive the Obsessively Compulsive members more nuts about it.
