question about optical toslink cable for my home theatre system

I just bought a kenwood theatre in a box deal and need to hook my playstation 2 up to it and then it to my tv...is a toslink cable all I need? Also, do I need to buy a ps2 specific one, or are they all the same? if anyone could LMK that would be great! thanks,
jason.

All you need. All the same, quality however is arguably different.

Toslink carries the Audio only. You'll still need video cable going from the Xbox to your Televison.

As for quality being different on different toslinks, I would have to call shenanigans. Fiber is 1s and 0s. If yours carries 1s and 0s, it's doing it's job.
