Check Out This eBay Seller Part Deux: The Crayons Strike Back!

To recap:

Auctions for crayons, straws, a typewriter and a 900 number book were being sold on eBay by a seller with the mysterious moniker, philosophyshop.

Several otters bid on the products and had them shipped to their house. Through some investigative work, we found out the seller was using otter funds to buy butt toys.

An auction of the crayons is now being held to get back at philosophyshop.

So what exactly is the bidding up to?

EDIT: Forgot the auction link: here.

crayoncollectorusa is gizmodvd, I'm magicalharp.

And I have the current high bid of ~ $157!

Here is one of the highlights from the previous thread. Sockmonkey received the following email from a guy named Ed Welter. He works for Nike, and is an avid hiker.

Hello,
I've been collecting crayons for years. I personally have over 1000 different boxes and have over 2000 documented. This includes a 24 box of Color Bunch. I do not understand what makes this brand and/or box so special. I looked at the letter and did a search on both the ICCS and RandyC Enterprises and found nothing on either. No other crayon collector I know has any knowledge of this organization either. Is there a way to contact them? Do you know the story behind what makes these so special? Honestly, these just look like one of the dozens of generic/contract brands made. I'd like to know more.

Thanks,
Ed

Is the fee split between the three highest bidders & Preacher (so 25% each), or just among the three highest (33.33% each)? Also, remember that the winner gets to leave, and receive, feedback!

preacher has already paid $20 for these crayons once

so I figure 1/3 each from the top 3 bidders is more fair.
preacher isnt responsible for how high people want to bid up.. while the final 3 bidders obviously are.

It's that phat DVD reviewer paycheck. What can I say, I want those damn_crayons. It's the least I can do to pay everyone back for all the joy reading the original thread brought me.

Awesome thread.

Of course, you all know, you've opened yourselves up to scrutiny of what you buy and sell on eBay..

Anime-style Jon Bon Jovi is kind of ugly, and looks a little like an 80's metal chick.

One question: Why does Bon Jovi look like the Shaggy Dog with a combover in that artwork?
