Dealing with long interconnects

I have several components (VCR, CD changer, etc.) hooked up with 6 ft. analog RCA cables. Since they are too long, I looped them up and bundled them with cable ties to look neater in the back of my A/V rack.

Can anyone tell me if this will have any adverse effect on the sound quality?

Thanks.

In my experience, this should be no problem. Just make sure you are not bundeling up the power cords with your RCA cords.
