I loved "Ticker," but I also really like "Follow," "Hostage," and "Star." The others aren't bad either, I wouldn't say any of them are bad at all, but "Ticker" really had an element of suspense to it which the others did not, not to mention a host of all star cameos.

Beat The Devil - great fun with another outstanding over-the-top Gary Oldman performance and a wicked spin on the Robert Johnson legend. Also liked the homages throughout - especially the hard-boiled egg reference to De Niro's devil in Angel Heart.

The Follow is one of my favorite works of film from the last five years, no joke. I also like the ones by Inarritu and Carnahan, both of which made me think about their bodies of work from a new perspective (although I don't necessarily think either of the shorts were too "good").
I hated Star, though.

beat the devil,easily then followed by tickerand then star,I can understand why alot of people like follow but i found it a bit boring.I just love the humour in beat the devil and all the flash ( i was glad about some of the subtitles,i just cannot understand what james brown says) and from ticker i can understand why (at the moment) that is way he is for MI3 directors job.

It's gotta be Star. Madonna (or her stunt double) hanging on for dear life, then bouncing around with Clive smiling freakishly as the car is thrown around a corner. I, or anyone else watching, never fail to bust out laughing when this plays.

Well...i've always liked the films i've seen Stellan Skarsgard in (Insomnia,Breaking The Waves,Ronin) so i'm going to go 'against the grain' and say 'Powder Keg'.
Talking of 'grain' i quite like the way the whole film has that 'foreign/art-housesy' feel about it due to the video quality..and subtitles

Madonna getting bounced around the back seat. Clive Owen hamming it up (especially when he's in the power slide, takes his hands off the wheel and snaps his fingers).
But because it filmed in Pittsburgh and I got to see some of the filming. I saw them film the BMW going airborne through the intersection. They almost totaled that BMW when it landed, thankfully they had a second car to continue filming with.
Actually got to meet Clive Owen (awesome guy, should be in more films) and Guy Ritchie (a bit flakey, but he's banging Madonna)

I loved Star because of the obvious--it makes fun of Madonna, and the short by Guy Ritchie was actually better than all of Swept Away. However, my favorite was Ticker. It was very poignant, dramatic, and had an amazing cast(Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, Don Cheadle, etc.). I only wish the rest were as great as Ticker.
