IGN has some vids and screenshots too - they just got em a few weeks ago. The vids I linked to are different than what IGN has.

I personally can't wait for this game to come to the states along with KOF 2001. They are also talking about a SNK complilation of some older stuff. I really don't need these games for my PS2, as I have *cough* other ways to play them, but I will definetly get MS3 as it is one of the best side scrollers ever.

Do you think this game will make it to other consoles?

I love the Metal Slug Series.

If it doesn't come out here, there's always nickel arcades or MAME.

More like 50 Cents per play on a almost falling apart arcade.

MAME is an arcade emulator. I'm sure if you type it into google it will provide the answers you seek.

(no one post where to get ROMs from thanks)

There's multiple nickel arcades near me. I go there all the time, because they actualy started to get some good games in...you pay a flat rate to get in, usually just a couple of bucks, and then every game is 1-2 nickels. You spend about the same as a regular arcade, but you play more games.

MAME is Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. It can emulate nearly every single arcade game to come out in the past 40 years.

I've been playing this on MAME for a while now. I always loved the Metal Slug Series, and actually, when I had a chipped PS1 got oh so close to "obtaining" a "version" through FTP. Great games, I played them so much at the nickel arcade (Yes I have them too.)

40 years! Don't you mean more along the line of the past 25 years?

Games since the early 80's I believe. Although I would't say that it has every game. There are quite a few within the last several years that couldn't be emulated. Yet.
