but VJ really IS an oldschool game with oldschool challenge. that's why it shines.
plus, it's like Devil May Cry, as you can use your viewtiful points to buy powerups, extra health/lives, etc.
so awesome.

I didn't care for the demo at all. Too repetitive, never cared for "beat em ups" or cel-shaded graphics.
Just not my cup of tea I guess.

I have played the demo of this game tons of times and it still rocks :). I love all the different kind of ways you can defeat the enemies. The demo wasn't too hard to me, so I'm glad the final version is more difficult.
Just curious, is the demo level in the Nintendo Preview Disc the first level of the game?

it's only part of the first level, maybe half, modified slightly.
