Panasonic RP62 and digital photos

I have a question that I figured some of y'all here may be able to answer. I tried it in the computer forum, but I think that was the wrong place.

I'm trying to burn some digital photos onto a CD-R for replay on a DVD player, and I'm having trouble getting my Panasonic RP62 to read the disc. It says it is compatible w/ CD-R, but only Window's Media files and MP3s. SHould I try to convert these files to WM then re-burn them, or is it completely impossible to play digital stills on the RP62?

Thanks for any and all help. It's greatly appreciated.

Your Panasonic does not support jpeg or Kodak picture CD's.

Windows Media Files and Mp3's are audio formats. You cannot convert your photos to WMA or Mp3 and be able to view them.

Sorry dude!

This info is from the on-line manual for your DVD player. I looked it up on www.panasonic.com .

Here's the direct link to download the manual for your Panasonic DVD-RP62

See page 5.

Thanks, I appreciate that...I didn't even think of looking at it that way...what about if I tried to compose a photo slide-show and saved it to a disc as a VCD? Anyone think that would work that way?
