any chance of south park blu se?
Watched the movie last night. I know the current movie is bare bones, anbd was wondering if htere is any chance of this on an se. Also, according to the creators, the mpaa made them cut stuff or change stuff, but somehow its worse now then it was then, is there any chance of the original cut?

another question, is this movie actually wider on the left and right, since it seems like when watching the fool screen version last night, it seemed like many characters were halfly cropped out of the frame, is this how it is on the dvd?

Very doubtfull. Two factoring elements...
1. Paramount
2. Matt & Trey have seemed to be doing less and less as far as extras for DVDs. (See SP: Season 2)
Their other films (Cannibal & the upcoming Orgazmo: SE) have been loaded, but other then that not much.

I want a commentary track by the CAPAlert guy.
From what I heard, the MPAA made them change the name of the film, and what they came up with (Bigger, Longer, and Uncut) was actually raunchier than the original title.

The original title of the film was "South Park: All Hell Breaks Loose." The MPAA forced Parker and Stone to change the title, citing that all movie titles must be G-rated (despite the fact that there are many movies with the word "hell" in them - Hellraiser, From Hell, etc.). The MPAA also required Parker and Stone to make many changes in the movie, cutting many scenes that were deemed unsuitable. Instead, they made the movie even worse, adding more swear words and objectionable scenes. After resubmitting the new cut, the MPAA gave the movie the green light, and Parker and Stone partially credit the MPAA with giving them the incentive to make the movie funnier.

The deciding factor I'd go with here is Paramount. They can be good when they want to, but they're not big on non-Star Trek double dips.

It's possible, but it'll be awhile. Matt & Trey would definitley be into something like that. And since they did an awesome DVD of Cannibal! The Musical, they did great commentaries for South Park S1, and they have a supposedly awesome DVD of Orgazmo being released later this year; I'm sure they'd do a special edition. But like what was said before, it's all Paramount's decision.
