Termintor 1 Ultimate Edition

Has anyone picked up the Japanese Ultimate Edition of T1?

http://www.hmv.co.jp/Product/Detail.asp?sku=1990352

I'm especially interested in the dts-Sound and whether the picture is new remastered.

No info on this Title, sorry

The DTS Digital Surround track uses the same elements as the Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround remaster. The Japanese Ultimate Edition does not include the original mono track. - Jspartan

Have read on another forum that this title maybe a limited Edition title? Have not bought a region 2 title before...

- Are the menus in Japan & English? (friend has VCD what has both on title.)
- carry no subtitles (Does this mean it's removable?)

Wanted to buy the Blade DTS version for a while now but my only concern is the navigation of the menus with only Japanese...BMatt

The R1 lacks the DTS track so it isn't quite the same.

It'll be the same goofy 5.1 sound mix used for the Dolby Digital track, with its replaced sound effects, anyway.

I have reviewed the Japanese Blade DTS and I can safetly say the menus are perfectly easy to navigate through.

Nice screen shots! I have this on the way from CDJapan and a review will be on the way as soon as I have it it my hands and get it in my player.........

Have you had a chance to watch it yet? What are your thoughts of the picture and sound quality? Oh and is the DTS track full bitrate?

I ordered Terminator Ultimate Edition with X2: X-Men United so they will arrive in September.

Terminator Ultimate Edition is 768kbps DTS but not 1536kbps.

BTW, Terminator 2 DTS is quite affordable now:

I'll Be Back !!!

Just ordered mine last night, hope it is not to late!, Excellent screen shots bbq. I was hoping for a higher bitrate at 1536kbps but at least it has DTS at 768kbps.
...BMatt
HMV Japan has it a bit cheaper than CD Japan, but it was easier to order it by CD Japan for me.

Thanks Tee for the Blade DTS review.
