Hey these were all the songs that the girls were loving (my gf loved most of these songs when they were popular.)

Steal my Sunshine by Len is a summer classic. The rest of that is a remarkable collection of total shite, IMO.

I've honestly never heard of 90% of those songs, and I must say I'm pretty proud of that. I'm pretty sure it's mostly crap.

I have a soft spot in my heart for All Star and Blue , I really like both of those songs. The rest is crap!

I've not heard one song from that list (except for the ABBA version of Dancing Queen).

But since I haven't been a teen for over 13 years, I don't think it was geared towards me, anyways.

Actually even when I was a teen, I listened to punk, metal and alternative rock. But I'm sure early-teen girls would eat this up.

Of the songs I've heard on the cd, this is the worst. Not only do I hate it, but it glues itself into my head every time I hear mention of it. Thanks to this thread, I'll have "This is the Story of a Girl/Who cried a river and drowned the whole world" in my head all day."

"Steal My Sunshine" and "Dance With Me" were pretty good.

I'm surprised "Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys is on there. I would have thought the esoteric and idiotic "I Want It That Way" would be there instead.

I'm pretty sure I would hate all these songs except that the three songs I've heard (setting aside the remakes; I've heard the originals) I like -- "All Star," "Blue," and "Steal My Sunshine." I agree, all overplayed, but to me still enjoyable (especially now that I hear them rarely).

Makes me wonder if I'd like the rest of the songs if I ever heard them.

This CD stinks, Kidz Bob stinks, and pretty much all of those "NOW" cd's stinks. Modern Pop compilations are terrible, people need to stop buying these. And those who are, should just download them.
