They really ought to call it 48, in that case.

I love that packaging. And Elisha looks damn fine in that picture. I don't feel like buying season 1 all over again though. But for someone who didn't already own the series, this would probably be the one to get.

OK, the big question is -- how do we get it? It's not up on any of the etailers I usually use. I was planning to buy R2 anyway (can't wait for the R1) and would spring for the big enchilada. If anyone knows, please post.

If you already have season 1, basically for really geeky reasons. (I'm getting it, so I can say that). The packaging is much better and there is a tiny bit of additional footage on Season 1 that is interesting to have as a comparison. Also, you'll get a couple of weeks headstart on the packed Season 2 set before it is released in the US.
I will say that unless you're a big fan I thought the PAL speedup was pretty noticable on this title --

Does anyone know will this package have more extras or something like that compared to buying Season 1 and 2 separately?

I've now heard a report from someone who received this set that the Season 1 episodes do not contain the longer versions of the later episodes (see above), as were previously released in Europe.
Did anyone else receive this set yet who can confirm?
Can someone who owns the previous "corrected" R2 box set post the time codes for some of the new footage to make comparison easier?
Thanks.
