New Tom Green Show

Anybody watch this last night? I was just curious as to what it's like.

He had Ludicris, Seth Green and some stoners from some movie no one has seen. The most extreme segment of the night had Ludicris hurling Bill O'Reily books with a cataplut. Lame.

I watched about 3 minutes and decided that I'd had enough.

It wasn't that good. I think the problem is he is trying to do too many things with this show. He either needs to go back to the old format or go on with a new talk show format. The guests were pointless and didn't do anything basically. I know Tom Green can be a good show host, because I watched him hosting Letterman and he did a great job.

HOLY CRAP! He hosted letterman???? Wow, i can't believe I missed that.

Anyways, I saw it last night. It was alright, I was doing other stuff at the time though so I didn't really get into it. When he had guests on it wasn't interesting at all. But the segments he did where he'd go back to his oldstyle out on the streets... that was funny.

The show is on 5 nights a week. Hopefully they don't end up running out of ideas quickly. Btw, I like Tom Green and I like the new show.

Tonight's episode hasn't been that bad, so far i've found it pretty entertaining.

How does this bozo keep getting work in comedy? He should be working a drive-thru somewhere.

That's a nice opinion and all, but the fact that he keeps getting work in comedy shows that he's been a success. With this in mind, he's getting ratings.

This show has been disappointing so far, but it seems like every talk show sucks for the first month or 2.

Also, the 2 stoners were from American Movie, a movie that many people have seen. Personally, I didn't like it that much, but I've seen several people say it's one of their favorite movies. Letterman liked it so much, he had the filmmaker guy do some segments for him.

I really wish he'd return to the old format. I guess it's harder for him to do videotaped segments (sad seeing all those people snapping photographs of him when he went to his parents' garage sale)...but still that was loads funnier than the talk show format which is already in place like everywhere else.

I've seen both nights. I tend to like the taped segments more than the live parts. The deer head clip had me laughing my butt off. The french/english dictionary parts was funny as well as Tom crashing a Segway in a store.

What the heck is up with Andy Dick? I must have missed a comment but he kept trying to fight Glenn. Friggin psycho. Glenn kept on winning except the end when Andy got him into a headlock. I think Glenn kept holding back since they were on the air. He looks like he would beat the crap out of Andy Dick in a no-holds-bared fight.
Why is Andy Dick still getting on shows? Do people actually like him?

I caught some bits of the show last night (Dita, Marilyn Manson, Dick, Trishelle), and I couldn't believe Trishelle started talking about Tom's lone nut (she's like the designated nutsack kicker on the Jackass show, it would seem).

Yeah, American Movie -- only one of the best, saddest, funniest documentaries ever made. Hmm . . . what site is this again? DVD Talk?
