Italian DVD Recommendations
I'm a newbie as far as regional DVDs. I will be in Italy in a couple of weeks and I was looking for recommendations of DVDs to purchase. I've been looking at various recommendation threads and so far the only Italian DVD recommendation I've found is:
DELLAMORTE, DELLAMORE
Can anyone recommend other discs? I'm looking for titles that are not available in the US and would be worthwhile addition to any collection. Also, does anyone have any recommendations of where to purchase DVDs in Rome?
Thanks

DVD Talk Platinum Edition
If you're interested in other horror films, Italy also has the best releases of Dario Argento's Non Ho Sonno (aka Sleepless - the US disc is "full frame" with 2.0 English sound while the Italian disc is anamorphic widescreen with DD and DTS 5.1 Italian tracks and a DD 5.1 English track) and Michele Soavi's La Setta (aka The Sect). Soavi, btw, is the director of Dellamorte Dellamore.

Hopefully it will be confirmed as well that the Italian release of 'Tenebrae' which has just been released will be the best one on the market with regard PQ/Audio.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'm not a big horror fan, DELLAMORTE, DELLAMORE was a recent release, available in Italy and sounded interesting. I bought a Toshiba SD-3900 and I'm going to Italy. Great opportunity to expand my collection of non-region one films (currently zero). Thanks again.

Any good DVD's out of Italy?
Just wanted some input on any good stuff out of Italy. A friend of mine is going over there this week, and asked if she could bring me back anything. Thanks in advance.

I echo pro-bassoonist comments on Ricordati Di Me And Santa Maradona. Both films are must haves. For those that order online Dvdland.it has Santa Maradona at 50% off 9.99 EU. Good deal even with the Euro trading so high.
