I was watching this on TV and I came in about half way through. I was astonished that that boy was a girl! How's the first part of this movie? Is it worth the $25 to own it or should I wait until it comes on the television again?

Very depressing movie..Swank is great..what you see is what you get so I'd rent first..

Boy's Don't Cry is a great movie, especially heartbreaking because it was based on the real Brandon Teena. You can probably find it for much less than $25 if you look around, the first part of the movie is essential.

Unbelievable movie that's really well done. I highly reccomend the movie for Swank and Sevigny's performances alone. Plus you get to see the original Becky from Roseanne in a muumuu! deepdiscountdvd has it for about 15 shipped

I think its a rental. I enjoyed it but don't think its the kind of movie that calls for repeat viewings.

I thought it was a good blind rent, but I didn't think I'd ever watch it again.

I don't think it would be a very good buy. It was a pretty good movie, but it's definitely more of a renter.

It was okay. I was a bit dissapointed in it, but Swank deserved her Oscar win for Best Actress. Worth a rental...

I sold mine. It's a great film, and I'm glad I got a chance to see it, but it's not one that I'd watch again.

I pretty much agree. It was OK to see once but no WAY would it have ANY replay value for me.

It just went through a price drop -- you should be able to find it for around $14.
