I just got done watching Out of Sight and realized that I don't think Jennifer Lopez has looked this good since. She was absolutely hot in this movie.

Nicole Kidman looked really good in Moulin Rouge.

Carrie Anne Moss - The Matrix

What are your picks?

eedoon
06-17-03, 02:16 AM
Definitely... Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca.
Kate Hudson in Almost Famous

Fok
06-17-03, 02:17 AM
Carrie Fisher - Star Wars trilogy

Zhang Ziyi looks so beautiful in CTHD that it almost hurts to look at her.

Also, as a straight man confident in my sexuality, I can admit that Jude Law in the Talented Mr. Ripley was looking fine.

Angelina Jolie - Life or Something Like It
Sally Field - Smokey and the Bandit

Adrienne Barbeau in both Swamp Thing and Creepshow.

Tom Cruise had a nice hair-do in Days of Thunder. He even sported the do at the 1990 Academy Awards where (he thought) he was gonna pick up an Oscar for 1989's Born on the Fourth of July.

Drool City. And the premise of that film is balderdash - what's so surprising about a fine looking woman like Ms. Bassett having a sexual fling with a 20-something guy while on vacation? Absolutely no surprise!!

Lots of good choices posted.
I want to add:
Jennifer Connelly -Career Opportunities The film itself is a little cheezy, but Jennifer looks gorgeous in it (maybe I should add The Hot Spot too, for obvious reasons :) )

And Maggie Cheung just looks luminescent in her cameo at the end of Ashes of Time

James Cameron had one of the all-time great lines when talking about Kate Winslet. Obviously not her greatest fan, when someone complimented her and said how beautiful she was in Titanic, James said, "Well, she certainly was well lit."

Of course, James Cameron is an idiot. Anyone who saw Kate Winslet in Iris -- and I mean all of Kate Winslett -- knows that she can look pretty damn good in a number of roles.

Agree about Lacey Chabert. Another film where she looked exceptional (at least in my opinion) was in Daddy Day Care.

I think Kate Beckinsale is beautiful but her films don't do her justice. When she's being interviewed or appears in candid shots she's stunning no matter what. In her films she, sadly, tends to look "blah". The only two films in which she looks as gorgeous as she truly is are Underworld and Van Helsing. Her appearance in these two films are polar opposites but she looks amazing in both.

Oh yeah. In addition to her beautiful face and hot body, I really love Lacey's voice. She's very soft-spoken and her voice is very soothing and sweet. Just an all-around beautiful woman with a lot of class and intelligence.

Agree about Lacey Chabert. Another film where she looked exceptional (at least in my opinion) was in Daddy Day Care.

Yes, most definitely. I wish she would get some larger roles though. She had a pretty huge role in Mean Girls, but her role in Daddy Day Care was limited and she was barely in Not Another Teen Movie. She's fully capable of carrying a film IMO and she needs to get that chance.

--->And I still think her and Jennifer Love Hewitt could pass for sisters. Two beauties.

I've seen both films (well Serendipidy in small doses as I find it far too vomit inducing - the film, not her) and I didn't care much for how she looked in either. I still think she's gorgeous but somehow that rarely comes across in her films. At least to me.

I'll start with the ladies:

CZJ - Zorro I couldn't keep my eyes off her!
Cameron Diaz - The Mask
Uma Thurma - Kill Bill Vol. 2
Jennifer Lopez - The Cell
Winona Ryder - The Age of Innocence
Michelle Pfeiffer - Batman Returns, a close second is White Oleander. The first she's made up, the second, all-natural beauty.
Angela Bassett - How Stella Got Her Groove Back (abs to die for)

That's all I can think of for the women, being a woman myself I'll obviously my mind is on the men -- some of the roles that come to mind are where the actor is sexy and looks good but is not normally known for that.

Russel Crowe - Gladiator
Jeff Goldblum - Jurassic Park
Robert Carlyle - Ravenous
Alan Rickman - Sense and Sensibility (those boots!)
Patrick Stewart - First Contact (muscles...who knew?)
James Spader - Supernova (movie sucked, body didn't)
Keanu Reeves, Lawrence Fishburn - The Matrix (clothes made the men)
Gary Oldman - Bram Stoker's Dracula (hard not to look good as a vampire, but I honestly didn't think he could pull it off - he did)
Ewan McGregor - Star Wars ROTH (after the mullet in Clones, he looked darn good)
Hugh Jackman - Van Helsing (tranformation scene -- that chest)
Ralph Feinnes - Maid in Manhattan
Daniel Day-Lewis - Last of the Mohicans
Edward Norton - American History X (the goatee, the body - another skinny guy showing the potential of some workouts - had to block out the giant swasika, but he looked good)
Toby Maguire - Spiderman
Jake Gyllenhal - The Day After Tomorrow

Sexual Chocolates
Samuel L. Jackson - Shaft (fine in that leather coat)
Taye Diggs - Brown Sugar
Denzel Washington - Training Day (being a bad guy suited him well)
Ernie Hudson - Congo

Not to piss on your parade, but I don't think she's all that. Her face is a little pudgy and those fake boobs are too big.

Anyway, she can't hold a candle next to Miss Reid.

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I respectfully disagree with teh follwing, and add my preffered alternatives.I would instead suggest Gattaca, or for more classic beauty, The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen.

Dude cuts a sharp look in Virtuosity.

No, no. no. Try The Princess Bride... whether she's in royal garb or as a simple farm girl. Only beautiful.

Totally agree on Uma in Gattaca and Robin Wright Penn in The Princess Bride.

Eliza Dushku - Bring It On
Catherine Zeta Jones - The Phantom (first movie I ever saw her in, man she looked fine)

You're funny. Slamming Lacey Chabert's fake tits (oh, they're real, by the way) only to glorify Tara Reid and her frankentits. You're an observant one.

Uh, yeah, right. Lacey Chabert's boobs are about as "real" as Ashlee Simpson's singing talent. Don't believe everything her publicist tells you.

when we're talking about crazy skanky hos, i think you may have a point about Reid. if we're talking about cuteness, i think you're way off.

otherwise, i'll give you five dollars if you would actually say no to her.

Julianne Moore looked great skipping in the hallway of the Cook County Hospital where she worked in The Fugitive. She had her hair back and it was bright orange with a pony tail that bobbed up and down when she ran in the hallway looking perky. Her skin glowed plus she has those smiley green eyes that sorta twinkle out love messages at people watching and she's all hopping mad when she rips off the guy's nametag and says "do you like looking at medical records" and then Harrison Ford's all "no" even though he got a pretty good look at the one record. I know the preverts here probably say Boogie Nights is the movie where she looked her best but i saw that one and except for the nudy scene which is another angle of julie to capture she looked kind of used and messy in that movie which is ok cause that's the part she was playing but in the Fugitive she plays this perky professional with glowing skin who probably smells good too except maybe for a little armpit odor which is normal after a long day at work but the question isn't about how she smells plus it's the end of her work day so she's supposed to be tired. She's good at nailing tiredness come to think of it except in the Fugitive it's a perky radiating, sexy tiredness that leaps off the screen into your lap. This Fugitive movie is where she looks best even though she says looking good isn't the most important thing in life which she's right about even tho she can't help looking good especially in the Fugitive.

Which Julieanne Moore character are you? (http://quizilla.com/users/ClariceMS/quizzes/Which%20Julianne%20Moore%20character%20are%20you%3F/)

It says I'm Amber Waves which I'm not crazy about but maybe if I woulda answered the questions different it would give me a better name.

Philip Seymour Hoffman looked his best in the early 90's, as seen in the Al Pacino flick, Scent of a Woman.

After seeing Hoffman in films like The Talented Mr. Ripley and Boogie Nights, I forgot that this was the same skinny Hoffman in SOAW. His acting and portrayals are so outstanding that it doesn't matter that he doesn't look like the typical "pretty boy" leading man. This man is a performer, and a helluva great one, at that.

Now, as far as "pretty boys" are concerned, we have-Richard Gere in An Officer And A Gentleman.

I think James Brolin looked his very best in 1979 when he played George Lutz in The Amityville Horror. The long hair, the full beard...it was a very good look, and he's never had it again after this movie. James Brolin clean-shaven is scary - like seeing your dad shave the mustache you've always known him to have (anyone experience that?) sorry for the digression

Angelina Jolie - Life or Something Like It
Sally Field - Smokey and the Bandit
Sherilynn Fenn - Two Moon Junction

Well Angelina looks good no matter what...however i think she looked a little misplaced with that stupid blonde wig.

I also thought that Sherilynn Fenn looked better in Twin Peaks.

And the less said about Sally Field the better.......she has never once come close to looking even half decent.

My choices would be:

Angelina Jolie - Tomb Raider / Mr and Mrs Smith
Salma Hayek - Desperado
Jennifer Connely - Requiem for a Dream
Michelle Pfieffer - Batman Returns
Cameron Diaz - Tha Mask
Jessica Alba - Fantastic Four / Sin City

I also agree with the people that mentioned Carrie Ann Moss in the Matrix.

All time for me is Jane Seymour in Somewhere in Time. It is incredible how beautiful she is in that movie.

Although I think Marilyn Monroe is the most beautiful woman ever.

High marks go to

Elizabeth Hurley in Bedazzled
Uma Thurman in Munchausen
Audrey Tatou in Amelie

I'll Jump back in.

Marilyn Monroe: Seven Year Itch
Natalie Portman: Closer (first time she didnt look 12)
Linda Fiorentino: Vision Quest (better than Last Seduction)
Sandra Bernard :Without You Im Nothing (the Little Red Corvette dance is incredible)
Helen Hunt: Mad About You (She looked better on that show than in any movie)
I recast my vote for:
Jennifer Connelly: Career Opportunities (damn!)
Salma Hayek: After the Sunset (so hot...so hot)
