Advance copies have been released. You know what that means.

I've been listening to it today. It's much slower than their first 2 and is even boring in parts. There really doesn't seem to be that one big catchy single like "Inside Out" and "Promise" were on their first two albums.

I sit here kinda disappointed, especially since I loved their S/T and Horrorscope discs.

There are also a couple slower songs on this disc that seem out of place on this album. "Here's to the Night" and "Jesus Nightlite" worked on their first two albums because they both finished strong. This band isn't good at sappy ballads and should just give it up if they're not going to build up the tempo later in the song.

I give this album a C, and that's just because I'm in a good mood.

I loved HORRORSCOPE but this album really sucks.

It's just plain bad. No catchy hooks and real lack of
enthusiasm.

You know, on first listen, I feel the same as you guys. I really loved the first 2 albums...they were fun and really rocked... this new record, when I heard it the first time... just flat out sucked (with maybe the exception of think twice).

I've given it another chance, and it's starting to grow on me. It's not as hooky or catchy as the other two, but it isn't entirely crap either... I think with time I'll start to like it more...but I'd hope they go back to more rocking songs (my initial impression was "oh great, an album full of "here's to the night"...my least favourite song)...

so basically, maybe give it some time, because on first listen I was REALLY down on it... now I'm thinking it's ok...and could get better...
