The Perfect Law & Order Cast (All Time, All Series)

The Perfect Law & Order Cast (All Time, All Series)
OK, so if you could pick any L&O character from any of the series, all-time... who would you pick?
Pick two primary detectives, one police captain or lieutenant, two ADAs, and one DA.
My choices:
Detective #1: Lenny Brisco (Jerry Orbach), L&O
I think the series really came alive with the addition of Lenny Brisco. Something about Orbach's voice just perfectly captures the sound of a NY detective. I could do without some of his puns, but... I don't think you can leave out Lenny Brisco.
Detective # 2: Mike Logan (Chris Noth), L&O
I keep vaciliating between Chris Noth and Vincent D'Onofrio... I like D'Onofrio better, but Chris North plays better off of Orbach. Tough call here...
ADA #1: Jack McCoy (Sam Waterson), L&O
You can't have a Law and Order cast without Brisco and McCoy. Sam Waterson was not the first EADA, but he was the best.
ADA #2: Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March), L&O:SVU
You have no idea how much it kills me to leave off Jill Hennessey, but Stephanie March is about the only reason I watch SVU. She's smart, quick-witted, and easy on the eyes.
Captain or Lieutenant: Capt. Donald Cragen, (Dann Florek) L&O:SVU
This is kind of a two-fer, since he also started off on L&O. This is actually the weakest position on the show historically, and Florek is the best of the bunch.
DA: Adam Schiff (Steven Hill), L&O
He was the longest-running cast member for a damn good reason: he defined the second half of every show. "Adam, we have a signed confession, the murder weapon, and thirteen witnesses!" "You'd be lucky to convict him for jaywalking -- make the deal." God, I miss him.
So who are your picks?

This is easy for me and the cast already fully performed together. The cast from Seasons 7 and 8 of L&O.
Briscoe
Curtis
Van Buren
McCoy
Ross
Schiff
I was tempted to team Briscoe and Munch but that would be sarcasm overload.

Cragen is too over the top for my liking. I would take Van Buren over him anyday. I would have Briscoe and McCoy as the main players, with Curtis as the other half of the cop team. The ADA is the hardest choice, but I think that I would go with Jamie Ross. Close second would be Hennessey followed by Angie Harmon...

I'd sort of like to be able to pick 4 detectives like on SVU, but I can narrow it down.
Briscoe and Logan. I love Stabler, Green, Goren and Benson, but those two were superb together.
McCoy and Jill's character Claire Kincaid were the best team.
Van Buren. ("Oh, no...you do not want me to come down there...")
Schiff. Easiest call on the list.

Too many actors too choose from
Dectectives:
1. Briscoe because he often has the best one liners.
As much as I loved the chemistry between Logan and Briscoe, can you imagine the banter between Briscoe and Munch? I fear it would turn into a different show however. Stabler would be an interesting pair with Briscoe as well (why can't we pick more than two?
2. Instead, I'm going with Green because Martin is just way too easy on the eyes .
Captain:
Van Buren hands down. I like Cragen on SVU but on the original L&O he was just so wooden.
ADA's:
1. Gotta go with McCoy. I don't think it would be L&O without Waterson so please don't ever let the revolving door hit him in the butt.
2. McCoy had the best relationship with Kincaid and to be honest I don't think I've cared for any of the other ADA's since. I don't watch CI regularly but on the one's I have seen, Carver seems a decent enough character.
DA:
1. Total no brainer, Schiff all the way. Branch is ok and I enjoy the conflicts between him and McCoy but Steven Hill could did more with two or three lines than some actors do with pages of dialogue.

OK for cops:
Det. Logan
Paul Sorvino's char (Logan's partner from season 2)
--I know everyone loves Brisco, and I liked him too, but I'm kinda tired of him now. I never liked Curtis and his current partner Green.
Lieutenant: Kragen
DA:
McCoy
Kincaide
the new guy (republican dude)
----
Also, I really like Gorn from CI, and he's probably my favorite to watch right now, but I didn't include him here because I think he's more of a lone cop, and while he has a partner (the chick with the HUGE biceps) he wouldn't be a good match with any of the other guy L&O cops.

Their line from their trip to the exclusive blueblood WASP enclave was classic: "We're Jewish detectives. Don't worry, we won't infect anyone."

Adam Schiff was the best :
Nobody could eat a sandwhich and recite dialogue with such ease they way he did
As for the cops I think Briscoe and Mike Logan were the best
I like Dann Florek and VanBuren both equally
As for the ADA or should I say "eye candy" part I pick Claire Kincaid followed by Jamie Ross
