Femme Fatale-- subtitles?
A friend of mine gave me a dvdscreener for Femme Fatale. I'm about half an hour into and I have a question. Is there supposed to be subtitles over the French? There is an awful lot of French and its easy to gather what they are saying by context, but it seems bizarre that there arent any subtitles. Are there supposed to be?

Hmm, okay. Well there aren't any french subtitles, or any subtitles to speak of. I was curious if there were English subtitles over the French spoken parts.

Oh. well I just finished it without subtitles (and not being able to speak French). Made the film quite interesting without it. It was fun figuring out what was being said by the actor's gestures and intonation.

Not only are there subs for the french parts, but at two climactic moments in the film there are subs when no one is talking.

Since there is no release for this film on BD (anywhere) I went ahead and bought the Digital HD on VUDU. It's in HD with a 5.1 soundtrack. $9.99.
