Gamecube coming down to $119.99

According to fatwallet -

http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/mess...hreadid=188689

who got the info from Lik-Sang, whose prices have already been cut -

http://www.lik-sang.com/news.php?artc=2953

So, how long before this filters down to Wal-mart ?

$130 on eBay? That's high for a GC. I see PS2's going for $100-120. Did you include games and/or memory cards or something?

I read that this price drop to $119 is for Japan only.

Will this $119 also include the GB Player that will be a packed in in a few weeks? Also the free game and bonus disc?

You are correct.

Unfortunately this price drop is in Japan only . They might do it here, but it looks pretty unlikely.

If theyre going to stop including the games with the system, I think they are going to have to have a price drop. It doesnt seem like there is a whole lot of people who want the GB player.

Menaz, where do you get that information? My store has a ton of people who have pre-ordered the GB Player, including myself who already has two SP's, and 2 regular Advances.

I can't wait for the GBA player. The castlevania games are my favorite games this generation on any platform. I can't wait to play them on the TV with stereo sound.

But I prefer 2D games to 3D games, and care 100 times more about gameplay than graphics, so I'm different than the average gamer I guess.

When does the GBA Player come out? I can't wait to get one. Ever since this was announced I stopped playing my GBA. I only play at home so this is the perfect way to play GBA games for me.

I can't wait for the GBA player either ... my four year old is getting into Mario Sunshine, but it is kind of difficult for him, so I can't wait to hook him up with some 2D platformer goodness ...

I am toying with buying a GB player. I do think they will wait till the free game is stopped then drop the price.

When the free game deal ends they will be bundling the GBA player with GC's so it would be more or less the same difference as the GBA player will cost about the same as a game.

except the GBA player will probably not drop in price as much as the games have. Most of the offered games can be picked up for $20-30 bucks. Or will be able to in a few months. Maybe not Zelda though as it usually holds its price pretty well.
