By Brakhage:CC reviews anywhere?

Been unable to track down any reviews yet for 'By Brakhage' due out on the 10th of this month and was wondering whether any early reviews existed anywhere that i have missed?

Not reviews, but two members of the Criterion board have gotten their copies and given some initial impressions. Sounds promising.

Still waiting for delivery of mine and can't wait!!

I'm suprised none of the DVDTalk reviewers have posted a thread here on this forum considering their review gained the coveted 'DVD Talk Collector Series' rating

Incidentally an excellent review Matt
let's hope it 'whets the appetite' for others to get an insight into the work of the late great Stan Brakhage.

Unfortunately, Netflix doesn't carry this one for some reason.

I was deep into disc 1 last night, in the first few minutes of the autopsy footage when I thought I better stop if I didn't want nightmares. DVD is the perfect place to study these films, frame by frame if you want. The interview segments of Brakhage are really enlightening. Well, it's morning now and I think I'll get back into it...
