Racing steering wheels (Xbox)

Do you guys use controllers or racing wheels for the racing games? I'm probably going to buy a couple of wheels for two of us to play... just wondering if you are satisfied with what you bought.

(did a search for this topic, but was having problems getting through a filter)

I just use the controllers. I really wish there was a way I could connect my Logitech force feedback wheel I got for GT3 on my PS2 to work. Both consoles are usb compliant, so it should work right?

I (and two of my other buds) have the Mad Catz MC2 wheel. Pretty happy with it overall. Pedals have a good feel and the wheel has just enough resistance to make it feel real.

I liked the Mad Catz for certain games like PGR, NASCAR, and NFS but the steering wore out after about a year. I don't think there is any way to fix it.

A steering wheel is good for games where you want a smooth response but in games where you want a quick response like Burnout you are better off using the regular controller.
