How Do You Format Your Posts?

OK, so maybe I'm a little anal-retentive, but I always use the same formatting tags for different parts of my posts:

Bold tags for movie titles
Italics for TV shows
Underline for book titles

And as of right now, no special formatting at all for band names. (Song titles go in quotation marks.)

Sometimes, I get a bit stuck. For example, I did a post on Role Playing Games. How should I format, say, Dungeons and Dragons? It's like a book, and yet I don't want to treat it the same as War and Peace. Hmm...

Does anyone else do something similar?

I'm not totally consistent on this; for instance, I try to put movie titles in bold, yet sometimes I'm too lazy. But here's my technique:
  • I've seen The Matrix Reloaded 4 times.
  • Dan Rather considers The New York Times to be a "middle-of-the-road" newspaper.
  • [I learned the above factoid in the book Bias.]
  • The song "Deicide" by the band Deicide from their album Deicide is a great tune.
  • I enjoy quoting from "Seinfeld" - it's the best sitcom, Jerry, the best!
  • And I try to write the screen names of DVDTalkers in bold.
I also only recently learned how to link sites like this instead of like this: www.dvdtalk.com

Finally, I promised myself a few weeks ago I'd never employ Originally posted by User again. So when I quote someone, I rewrite that part to say something like After careful consideration, User has arrived at the following conclusion: or User is a member of the faction which maintains....

No. I capitalize the first letter of movies, books, TV shows, etc, but don't worry about bold, italics, colors, etc.

I only use Italics for Movie titles. I rarely use bold and underline format.

I would personally use italics for television shows and albums as well.

Quotes are reserved for pieces that can be reproduced with others in a single volume. (e.g. song titles, episode titles, short stories, poems, articles, etc.)
