Firelight in Italy

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but I just ran across the movie "FireLight" in Italy. Widescreen.

Very good indeed....MiramAxe owns the US rights and there are no signs of getting it released any time soon.

The German version also has removable subs (though the title is in German)....the French version however has forced subs so avoid it.

Too bad L'ETUDIANTE which is coming out in a few days will not have subs....o, well.......maybe the British will sooner or later release some of Sophie's movies.

I have the French DVD and subs are removable.

Yes I know what dvdfr.com wrote, but I bought the DVD and I am able to remove subs.

...doing so by using some of the hacks floating around or simply by using your remote? Will you elaborate?

I would appreciate it if you could tell us what player are you using as well.

No hacks. I am watching DVDs from other regions on the computer and WinDVD removes subs on this disk. There are however some DVDs with forced subs, that I am unable to remove.
