So what's Winona up to?
Just checked over at IMDB and it seems she's not working any anything in the near future and S1m0ne is the last movie on her list. Is she damaged goods in Hollywood or is she taking a hiatus for the shoplifting thing to blow over. Maybe community service interfering with shoot schedules? I would really like to see her make a comeback.

Her being guilty from being a thief hurt her career, so I guess she decided to give it up because she didn't want the media to continue to get on her ass all the time.

I keep hearing her name attached to the Nic Cage "Wicker Man" remake. Her and Angelina Jolie. It's nothing close to official, but I get the impression they want her.
By the way, the descriptions I've heard of the Wicker Man remake make it sound less like "The Wicker Man" and more like Thomas Tryon's novel "Harvest Home."

Really, if anything that HELPS a career. Remember, it's about being known to the public and what better way to get publicity then her reccent events. Much like anything, I am sure she will be back in full force.. then again the role in S1mone was very small to begin with. she wasnt jumping from film to film for a while now.

There have been worse things happening to Hollywood actors in the past... 
I like her, and her kleptomania makes her more interesting, I think. Anyway, it would give her more experience to be an even better actress.
Another actor who was in down the tubes for a while was Robert Downey Jr., and I think he is a very accomplished actor that still has a lot of potential. Anyway, I wish him well and I hope Winona gets some good parts soon.
