quick question regarding the twins

when they were chasing the key maker, and one of them got his arm in through the door and was shot over and over...why didnt he just turn into a ghost and get through?

I think because it was one of those back doors. I guess they can't screw with code at the same time you are going through a back door...

Because, if they had turned into a ghost, the door could have closed. As we saw with Neo, once the door closes, it may open again to a totally different area.

If they had let the door close, they would have had a hard time finding Trinity or the keymaker again. It's that simple.

Good answer. That part bugged me when I saw it the first time.

no wait...that makes sense until the 2nd one got through. at that point why didnt the first one just turn into a ghost and then get through. the 2nd one had to threaten trinity to make them let the 1st one in. once his brother got through i think he should have just let himself in as well.

If I am to assume that the door, once closed will lead to another location unless open by a certain key (the key makers key), then if the twin stuck in the door tried to go through the door would close seperating his arm from his body in two different locations. So the second twin had to make morph open the door or else face having his brother lose an arm.. which I'm sure would be a lot harder to grow back.
