Best Jodie Foster movie

Jode Foster is my favorite actress. I can't think of a bad film that she has made. My favorite is Taxi Driver followed by Panic Room. What's yours?

I'll go with Silence Of The Lambs. She was good in Panic Room as well.

The most memorable: The Silence of the Lambs and Contact.
I also found her performance in Taxi Driver and Panic Room to be quite good.
Haven't seen The Accused.

I like the one she was in where she played that girl that had that problem to overcome, but things didn't really go her way. Everything worked out in the end though.

Oh, and it had that guy who was in that other movie in it too.

Can't really say I'm a Jodie Foster fan at all. She just annoys the hell out of me for some reason. Maybe I just can't get her "Nell" character out of my head when thinking of here. Taxi Driver and Silence of the Lambs are alright, but nothing extraordinary for me.

My favorite film in Foster's credits would have to be Shadows and Fog - although that's not really a Jodie Foster movie, as she was only on screen for about 3 minutes.

Sounds like The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (1976). Really. Very good, little known film.

"That guy who was in that other movie" was Martin Sheen.

Here's a review from someone on IMDb:
I hated this movie. I always thought Jodie Foster, would be innocent. In Napoleon and Samantha and Tom Sawyer, she played good roles, along side Johnnie Whittaker. She was bad, in this picture. Especially the sexual scene, where she undressed and got in the bed, with the boy. fornication and adultery. No kid of mine, would see this garbage. It should have been censored
If that doesn't make you want to see it, you're not human.

(BTW, overall rating on IMDb: 6.9/10.)

Best Jodie Foster movies: Taxi Driver, Contact, The Silence of the Lambs. Best Jodie Foster performances: The Accused, The Silence of the Lambs, Contact. Worst Jodie Foster movie and performance: Nell.

She gives a very good performance in a very good (but not great) quirky little film called FIVE CORNERS. It's worth looking up at www.allmovie.com. Produced by George Harrison, it's got John Turturro and Tim Robbins. A bit hard to find on DVD, but it only costs about $5. Worth it, easily. My personal favorite of her films, but this is an odd little movie.

I must be one of the few who really didn't think Panic Room was all that.

What, no love for Bugsy Malone starring Jodie Foster, Scott Baio and an "all child" cast!?
