Father and Mother of Matrix

Well, we all know already that the Architect is the Father of the Matrix.

If the Mother of the Matrix is Oracle then it would make sense because the role of a Mother is to nurture all life whether it be other programs in the Matrix or human life.

Now here's something to consider... at one time I believe the Father and Mother of the Matrix were together before the Mother I guess divorced herself from him and went into exile. The reason why she left him could be his total involvement in solving the mathematical creation of the Matrix which took most of his time doing and he could not get anywhere (5 revisions). Thus he ignored her completely. The Mother, however, got fed up with this and has now been seeking ways of ending this endless task so as to bring peace between the machines and the humans. Thus her involvement to help Neo. Moral of the story.. don't ignore your mate! :P

So what do you think?

For the love of god, this is starting to annoy me. No offense Regurgitator, but your name fits you well. there is already a thread in the first page titled "THE MOTHER" it talks about the same thing. Why is it that there is soooo many threads in this forum that are talking about the same damn thing and yet are created into there own title?

the Dialouge thread: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=mother talks about it aswell.

and it was covered in a larger degree in the Spoilers thread
http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...r&pagenumber=7

How many different "I think the matrix means this..." threads do we need? they all say the same thing and if they were put in the previous thread talking about the related items then it would better serve as a discussion instead of everyone jumping on their own soap box and yelling at the same time.

Take it easy.. Jackskeleton. My topic isn't just about the Mother of the Matrix but a whole new topic about the relationship of the Father and the Mother of the Matrix which is by itself a whole new topic of discussion. If everyone were to clump everything related to a character of the Matrix under one top.. you would not see hardly any threads but extremely long ones.

Your title is "father and mother". the other thread "Mother" would be a great way to already jump into a discussion about the subject matter and expand on it to have it fit both the relationship of the mother and father. I'm just saying this because it seems like a lot of threads are started when there is already a thread that is talking about the subject matter that the new thread is talking about only.

Do we really need a lot of "My theory about the matrix" type of threads for everyone's idea on it? Or could it help by clumping them in a sort of order to better get the ideas of many to feed it instead of just creating a spin off.

Threads evolve. thats their nature here. Mostly they just turn into a lucas bashing thread but hey.. threads do indeed evolve into things on there own and the subject here could have gone there. Now to discuss this.

about the Oracle..it is something that is not stated in the film. they bring it up but the answer to the question/statement is a simple "Please " (Please note the rolleyes is my impression of how his face looked). the Architect seemed like neo didn't realize how wrong he was.... or the architect is blown away at how high of a status the normal folk have given her.

either way this was not answered in Reloaded. it was just brought up and no side gained any level on it.

I usually give up on threads when they get too long and/or off topic. I'd rather have more threads - just my opinion.
