I was wondering if there was something like dvd aficionado only with books, that would keep track of the books you either have or read.

Check out http://www.mediachest.com. They allow you to list books, CDs, games and DVDs.

That's really cool. Too bad it costs $20/year. But that's not much.
Looks like they're in the process of upgrading Audiofile, so you might be able to forgive them someday.

Welcome to the forum, PopcornTreeCt.
I've merged your topic with a similar one from a while ago.
Not necessarily "on-line", but as muggins says, check out this earlier thread: OT: Library / Book-Collection Software Suggestions Wanted [merged].

www.listerx.com works for manga, as well as other anime-related items (games, pencil boards, soundtracks, J-pop, anime DVDs, etc.)

I know this is an old thread and such, but I was curious if anyone knew of any software similar to DVD Aficionado to show a collection easily online. Anyone know of any?

Maybe not exactly what you want as it's not free & you need your own web space (which has gotten pretty cheap), but the Collectorz.com Book Collector sw allows you to export to html.
Here's an example with a few of my books.
