Recent TV episode with 'real life' gun fight?

Back in April I remember seeing a commercial for an upcoming TV drama episode (or possibly TV movie) that looked to be a "ripped from the headlines" type show recreating the North Hollywood bank robbery. Or SOMETHING involving lots of police shooting it out.

Does anyone know what show or movie this was? Has it aired yet?

I think I know what you are talking about and I think it's gonna be on USA or TNN or something.

Michael Madsen may be a star.

I'm looking forward to this one. Ron Livingston plays a SWAT cop! He's so freakin' cool.

Did Livingstone star in something cool that I'm not aware of? Besides Office Space, I mean. Dude seems a bit mild to be a blue flame special type.

"Blue flame special?" What does that mean? Yeah, Band of Brothers, although I can't remember his character ever firing a weapon during the entire ten hours (but I think his character was in a staff position). He was in The Practice, too, in a semi-fiery role. He was also in Swingers before Office Space.

Yeah, in Band of Brothers, Captain Nixon actually mentions that he hadn't fired his weapon one time. But he did have a bullet glance off his helmet...that scene freaked me out

I don't care what you think, Livingston is a badass. Cover your ears and hide your fax machines! The SWAT team is coming!

That scene was hilarious after you found out he was okay. "Am I okay?" "Yeah, you're fine!" "Okay, then quit looking at me like that!"

44 minutes

This is the movie on the infamous Hollywood shootout. I am looking foreward to this but have a feeling it will be on the cheesy side. Anyone else looking foreward to this?

Premiers June 1st at 8PM

I thought this thread was about how long an hour TV show is after you FF through the commercials.
