Best John Woo movie?

Either Hard Boiled or the Killer

I know I forgot a few (windtalkers, Hard Target, some of his lesser known hk movies) but the thing only limits to 10 and imo, these are his 10 most known.

Face/Off is my fav. The boat chase scene is incredible. The shootouts in the Church, Airplane Hangar, and Castor's Apartment top anything in The Killer and Hard Boiled

It was a tough decision between this and ABT, but my final vote has to go to The Killer.

I love Hard-Boiled and The Killer, but I give Face/Off the edge slightly... it had the best acting of his films, and the most over-the-top plot. It's been Woo's only American film so far that's as stylish as his Hong Kong work, but with a slightly more coherent American sensibility... imho anyway.

The Killer, followed by ABT 2 (I liked that ending shootout too much!)

THE KILLER - it has a place on my personal top ten list. I especially like the comment from the Maltin Video Guide which describes it as a ".....near-operatic masterpiece".

It's all about The Killer. Too bad Hollywood ruined Woo.

The Killer just edges out Hardboiled. The rest are far behind.
