what are you watching?

Everything in bold that isn't a UPN sitcom.

But first ... some much needed rest over the summer.

Some 60 Minutes, some Monday Night Football.

Doesn't look like I'm missing much except maybe Local Programming and Movie.

Of the new shows, Coupling but I have little to no idea of the others - will wait for more press.

Of the old shows, Simpsons, Angel and Smallville.

Any idea what Comedy Central has lined up for the fall?

Constant repeats of SNL and marathons of Weekend at Bernie's 2 I imagine.

Monday--CSI Miami
Tuesday--24, Frasier
Wednesday--Smallville, Angel, Enterprise, might check out Jake 2.0 just for the producer whose involved (and I'm a sucker for superhero-type shows).
Thursday--Friends, CSI, Coupling (highly doubt they can match the hysterical original)
Friday--JAG, Boomtown (it'll be weird to see network shows on Friday, I usually just watched Farscape/Stargate)
Saturday--nada
Sunday--Simpsons, Alias

None of the other new shows sound very interesting and my list above is the smallest it's been in eons.

Wow, there are a lot of new shows on. I was starting to put a list together but I'm completely unfamiliar with a lot of these new ones, so its hard to say right now.

As of right now though, the only time slots I'm upset about are Wednesday 8pm and 9pm. Wed 8pm has FOUR conflicting shows for me: Enterprise, Smallville, Stan Hooper, Ed.

But then at 9pm Angel, Jake 2.0, and Bernie Mac all conflict (assuming Jake 2.0 is worth watching).

Fortunately it looks like those will be the only 2 conflicting timeslots for me.

Sunday
American Dreams
Simpsons
Alias
The Practice

Monday
Everwood
CSI: Miami

Tuesday
Gilmore Girls
24

Wednesday
Enterprise
Smallville
Angel
Karen Sisco

Thursday
Survivor
CSI
Without a Trace
Tru Calling
Coupling

Friday
Wanda at Large
Luis
Boston Public
Miss Match
Boomtown

Not sure if I'm sampling any other shows besides those I've bolded. I'm trying to get my TV watching down less than it was this season! I might keep an open mind on Fearless and The Handler, depending on how the early reviews come in.

Sunday - Alias, The Practice(guilty pleasure)

Tuesday - 24
Wednesday - Smallville, A Minute With Stan Hooper(Norm is back!), Angel
Thursday - The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Tru Calling, Coupling(I'm morbidly curious about this one)

Saturday - nothing

I'm also curious about The Mayor based on its cast, but that's a midseason replacement on the WB.

Las Vegas with James Caan sounds pretty good...although I'm kind of sad the story has him playing a security person instead of the owner of the casino, which would seem like the ideal role for James.

Uh... just 24

question though - this COUPLING news! I must've missed the press release but I LOVE the original - I take it this is a remake??

I'll give it a shot, but I just know it's gonna be crap.

Where are all my future cops, future lawyers, and future doctors shows? Don't tell me these brilliant concepts didn't make it.

I am in school, so a lot of times (like this past fall, winter, and recently spring) I had to record my weekly shows to watch on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Obviously I will probably have to do that this coming fall, winter, and spring.

Sunday:

King of the Hill
The Simpsons
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
The Practice (maybe)

Monday:

Everybody Loves Raymond

Tuesday:

Fraiser
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

Wednesday:

That '70s Show
The West Wing
Law & Order

Thursday:

Scrubs
Will and Grace
CSI

Friday:

Thankfully, nothing

Saturday:
(will be recorded. Hardly ever at home on Sat nights)

Cops
Hack

SATURDAY

Final Tally w/ last years keepers
ABC---2 with 3 maybes...last year 5 w/3 canceled
CBS---4 with 6 maybes...last year 6 w/2 canceled
NBC---6 with 4 maybes...last year 8 w/2 canceled
FOX---6 with 4 maybes...last year 12 w/6 canceled
WB----4 with 2 maybes...last year 7 w/3 canceled
UPN---1 with 3 maybes...last year 4 w/3 canceled

ABC may break even, probably not since they like to cancel the shows I watch.
CBS has a chance to come out and beat last year.
NBC is more likely to do so.
Fox will only slide this year.
WB will remain close to last year but still behind
UPN will probably stay around 1 or maybe 2.

My guess for the rankings will be for me at the end of the season...
1.NBC
2.CBS
3.Fox
4.WB
5.ABC
6.UPN
