CBS Survivor 1-6 Which Season Was the Best?

So which did you enjoy most, just curious what people think and how this season ranked in your opinions.

Survivor Season 1:
Winner Richard Hatch

I really enjoyed this season, cuz it was new and you weren't sure what to expect. The deserving player won this particular one, so that is good.

Survivor Season 2: Austrailian Outback
Winner Tina Wesson

One of my favorites because the best player Survivor has ever seen, Colby was in this one and deserved to win, but instead took the person to the final 2 that he knew might beat him.

Survivor Season 3: Africa
Winner Ethan Zohn

Good season, really liked Ethan, thought that he deserved to win as well.

Survivor Season 4: Marquesas
Winner Vecepia Towery

Crap, can't believe that Vecepia won. Not a bad season otherwies, not that great either.

Survivor Season 5: Thailand
Winner Brian Heidik

Didn't enjoy this season too much, Ghandia was annoying as all hell. I did like Brian though, who was deserving of the win.

Survivor Season 6: The Amazon
Winner Jenna Morasca

Loved this season, great up until last night during the finale when Jenna won. Such a disappointment. She did nothing and won the $$$, Matt or Rob should be getting the $$$. I really hated Heidi, I'm just glad that silicone skeleton didn't win.

Looking forward to next season, hopefully its a good one!

I honestly don't remember Survivor Marquesas -- at all. I liked this season and season one a great deal. However, I think that Season Two was overall the most interesting because it was the first time people went into the show knowing they had to make alliances to win.

First season was really untoppable, since it was new and all. Besides, even 10 years from now, we'll still remember that final four. There was absolutely no mystery in the voting, yet it was still such compelling TV.

I remember Time.com had a weekly column and after the finale, they talked about the final shot of Richard getting in his ugly new Pontiac Aztec and compared it to
Spoiler:
Keyzer Soze climbing into his Jag
at the end of The Usual Suspects. I thought that was a great observation.

As much as I enjoyed this season, I still think the first was the best, and not because the show was new. I found Richard Hatch to simply be a compelling contestant. He arrogantly and repeatedly told everyone, "I'm going to win, and you're not going to stop me" ... and then he did. I also think the dynamics between the characters were incredibly interesting.

My list would be the same as Red Dog's, with the exception that I found Africa better than Marquesas ... although both were mind-numbingly boring.

I voted for the first season, simply because it was new, and also because of the way that Richard Hatch played the game. After that, I'd say 2 and 6 were a tie. 2 because of Elisabeth, the best female contestent on any of the Survivors (I'd place Colleen from S1 right after her), the drama with Mike burning himself, and the great setting (IMO), and 6 because of the way Rob played the game.

I hope 7 will be another good one. It looks like they have a great setting, lets hope noone gets eaten by a shark!

Same here - Season 6 would have surpassed Season 1 if not for the stupid finale last night - it definitely brought the show down a notch or two, but it was still the best since the original.

Marquesas would have been better if the RobFather had lasted longer.

I have to go with Australia simply because it had Amber and Elizabeth.

The Robfather and Sean were classic from Marquesas! They definitely need to find another guy named Rob for the next season...they make great contestants!

The first is on a level of it's own for several reasons but I would rank the Amazon right after it.

Trivia time:

Everyone knows Jenna from this season was the youngest to play this game...Who was the second youngest?

After Rudy, who was the oldest?

Who was the very first person ever to be voted off?

Out of the 96 total Survivors, how many were married (at the time they played the game)? 10, 20, or 30?

How many bartenders have appeared on the show?

Who are the 6 winners of Survivor so far, in order that they won it?

1. Survivor: Australian Outback
2. Survivor
3. Survivor: Amazon
4. Survivor: Marquesas
5. Survivor: Thailand
6. Survivor: Africa

Even though Africa was my least favorite season, it was only time that my favorite player ended up winning. (Ethan). The endings usually disappoint me.

I gotta go with the first one, probably because it was something new at the time and we didn't know what to expect.

1. Palau Tiga
2. Amazon
3. Australia
4. Thailand
5. Marquesas
6. Africa

Just think, we have Panama this fall, then one more in the winter, and then, from all accounts, the "reunion" season, where they'll take one man and one woman from each season (who didn't win) and put them together.

Man, I'd love to see Rob from this season up against Jerri from season 2, and some of the other players we've seen over the last couple years.

What are the odds of CBS making this happen? Survivor all stars, the six winners and 10 of the best players from the first six seasons.

I've heard rumors that the 8th edition will be a all-star type format. I don't know if it will necessarily be the best players - I think CBS would try to craft a cross-section of players.

I posted this a few days ago. This is from a CNN story about CBSs new schedule:

Next season CBS will also present an all-star version of "Survivor," bringing back past players like Richard Hatch (news), Rudy Boesch, Tina Wesson, Ethan Zohn and Jerri Manthey (news).
