OK, I'll be the first to admit I kind of liked Pink Flamingos. Its sick. Its disgusting. It has the worst (intentionally, in any case) acting I've ever seen. But its so completely silly, I couldn't help but like it... somewhat. What a way for John Waters to boost his career.

I should be ashamed for liking it, and I am.

I am not a very big fan of horror movies, yet I've watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 at least 4 or 5 times. I don't like slasher movies, and don't understand 'enjoying the badness' of a really cheesy film, yet this movie tickels me pink everytime I see it. I can't even think of any aspect of it that deserves compliment, but as a whole it's insanely satisfying.

Bubble Boy is a recent one...

Gleaming the Cube
Armed and Dangerous(absolutely love this one, and I"m not really ashamed, but not well thought of)

Damn, I'm not really ashamed of too much. I just dig conventionally bad films along with the classics! There's actually probably far more I'm ashamed I DIDN'T like.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, I also enjoyed Popeye.

I also enjoyed Monkeybone (a lot).

My indie movie credibility has just soared out the window...

Movies that I am ashamed for liking, which are called "guilty pleasure" movies....

Planet of the Apes
(2002 version w/Tim Burton and Mark Wahlberg, I actually found this entertaining, I didn't see anything wrong with the movie, most people hate it for the ending, I find the ending quite humorous)

Back To The Beach

The movie is so lame but it's still kind of a favorite of mine.

Legally Blonde

Bring It On

Popeye is one of my favorite movies, period. I've been noticing a mass confession about liking it recently - maybe soon, it won't even have to be a guilty pleasure.

I love that one too.

Fact is, there is no shame in liking these films.

If I like something there is no shame.

the Devil's Advocate -- I feel strangely compelled to view this film almost every time I come across it, even though something tells me I shouldn't...

Why be ashamed of this movie? One of the two best chick flicks of the 80's(w/ Steel Magnolias!)
