THE ALAMO (John Wayne movie)

I watched this movie on dvd for the 1st time.
And I noticed that the cinmatogragphy, acting, and sometimes music were a lot like Serio Leon's Clint Eastwood's Italian westerns. Anybody else notice this?
Anybody know if this movie inspired Serio Leon?

Re: THE ALAMO (John Wayne movie)

I just checked his bio and it says for Fistful of dollars he asked for a score which was like the deguello that Tiomkin used for the Alamo and Rio Bravo so he did! Yeah Alamo was dope.
