Any new news on R2 release of Ken Russell's "The Devils"?
Even the somewhat reliable 'Savage Messiah' website is vague on this but mentions that a 2003 release might happen. Any new rumours? Word is that Russell might provide a commentary. Is there any chance the recent UK televised documentary which featured the notorious 'Rape of Christ' censored scene might get included on the disc?

Apparenlty Channel 4 were only able to show the documentary once with the missing scenes included. Any future showings have to remove them. Last time I heard Warners weren’t interested in doing a DVD. An outside licensor is probably the best bet.
