Is anyone else worried that...

...the Matrix Reloaded/Revolutions will have an interesting story that blew everyone away like the first? Or will it just be a CGI-fight fest?
Hopefully, it will be good storytelling and not eye candy. The trailer kinda looks that way.
Any thoughts.

Even if it is more special effects than story ( and no, I'm not saying plot should be ignored), I think I'll be okay with it.

Look at the Alien series.

The first is certainly more cerebral than the second, and yet it's still hard deciding which is the better one.

It's tough for me, anyway.

Just a thought.

Nope. The only thing I'm worried about is the goodies for the DVD... I want a much better commentary than before. Something that doesn't consist of sparse/intermittent "haha, yeah, I remember that" and whatnot. FTR, if they could just put everything into a single special edition package without splitting things up, I'd be more satisfied.

Well I really thought the first one was kinda just an action/cgi fest. Good but not great. It had one scene that kinda explained a lot but they never really explored it after that. So if its anything like the first one you are probably right.
