Which German R2 are worth a buy ?

I think that the guys above have pretty much summed it up. I would also add the BOONDOCK SAINTS which is anamorphic and uncut and the new version is sold in Germany. However it is titled in German so you might want to ask around.
Up until a few days ago I was gonna add DAS EXPERIMENT but it is coiming in R1 now so (if you find it cheap though you might consider it).

In my view, I think that the case with German DVDs is pretty sad. I find myself being interested in only about 5-6. That is quite unusual for such a European juggernaut....and to add up the rather strange Amazon.de service, I have not been able to access too many German films. Now French cinema.....my list is huge!!

If you dont get too many of their films look into adult titles- the Germans are notorious for their "quality productions".

I'd add:
Sam Peckinpah's CONVOY (not available in Region1 and Region 2 versions from other countries are missing some footage)
John Ford's FORT APACHE (Bis zum letzten Mann) one of Ford's best and not available in Region 1.
