Your favorite death scenes!! (may contain SPOILERS heh)
Here are a few of my favorites:
-Jimmy Caan in "The Godfather". A classic.
-Sean Connery in "The Untouchables". The man still crawled in his appartment leaving a trail of blood after getting 100 bullets in him.
-Kevin Spacey in "L.A. Confidential". After he says "Rollo Tomassi" you can literally SEE the life go out from his eyes. Great acting.
-I remember some guy in a "Friday The 13TH" movie getting impaled in the eye with a party favor (sorry I'm not sure of the name, it's one of those things that you blow into at birthdays and it makes a wacky noise you know? Ok no sex jokes implied here ) and yes it did make that wacky noise as it plunged in the eye. Stupid, but funny!
-Willem Dafoe in "Platoon". The slow motion and his arms stretched towards the sky...
Ok enough about what I think , what are yours?

There's so many in the Friday the 13th series, but one that stands out is Rob in The Final Chapter: "He's killing me! He's killing me!"
Also the death of "Dead****" was awesome: corkscrew to the hand, machete to the face.

DVD Talk Hero - 2023 TOTY Award Winner
Well, I'd say we're bound to have more than a few films spoiled in this thread.
Two older Aussie films come to mind.
Gallipoli, the ending.
Breaker Morant. "Shoot straight you bastards!"

Guys, look! We should agree on some ground rules. Nobody has seen every movie out there so we should use spoiler tags, like this:
[title of movie here]

This would be a Minority Report spoiler.
Best to leave the film's title outside of the spoiler tags, yes?

Vizzini: You only think I guessed wrong - that's what's so funny! I switched glasses when your back was turned! Ha-ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia", but only slightly less well known is this: "Never go in against a Sicilian, when *death* is on the line!". Hahahahahah!
Bateman: You like Huey Lewis and the News?

a dude is doggy-style...has a meathook jammed up his rump...and the killer proceeds to rip upward, taking the entire spine with it. from Zombie Doom. just painful to watch.
