I got to meet my fav author (LA Times Fest of Books)

Stuart Woods! Had him sign his latest, "Dirty Work"

Anyone else go to the Festival of Books? 400 authors in 2 days. I sat in on "The Suspense is Killing Us" with George P. Pelecanos, Gerald Petievich, April Smith and Stuart Woods

The Festival was a blast, I was there all day, both days, working theonering.net's booth. I got to sit in on their exclusive interview with Terry Brooks, that was mighty cool. Caught Brian Jacques' panel, which was hilarious, got a couple books signed.

They had a gallery of original pieces of children's book art - Cat in the Hat, Where the Wild Things Are, Charlotte's Web, Peanuts, they had a Calvin & Hobbes selling for $26,000!

I'm looking forward to the Book Expo at the end of May, where I'll end up literally filling my car with ARCs (as long as I get Chuck Palahniuck's new book, I'll be happy). Neil Gaiman will be there, at a new graphic novel pavilion.

I am definitely jealous over here. I love Stuart Woods's work.
