Anyone here a Gamestop employee - RE Price Drops
Read over on FW some manager posted his monthly marketing for the month and allegedly it was
149.99 for PS2 and Xbox
99 for GC
Also says these are not Sale items, this will be the regular price. Could be just someone talking out of his ass, but if there are any Gamestop employees and can verify it, please do

If true this should please a number of people on here. Personally I'm glad I didn't wait on any system. I've had way too much fun with all of them.

I think if both Xbox and PS2 go down to $150, Microsoft will drop the 2 free games...Also, I wonder if $150 will be the price for the smaller compact Xbox as well.

Well, if GC hits $99, I'm definitely buying one. Heck, I'll buy one even if it drops to only $129 or something like that. I paid $299 for both Xbox & PS2 and don't regret it for a second.

There are a couple of threads about it already, but nintendo refurbished GC are $90 at a couple of palces now Joshic. I got mine at EB.
As for the original topic, if it is just marketing materials, maybe they are just planning for the future- so they dont get caught without signs if and when the price does drop.
