Episode 706: Lil' Crime Stoppers
Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny start their very own South Park detective agency. After they return a missing doll to a little girl, the police department recognizes the boys' efforts and they are officially named junior deputies. Their next assignment: to break up a meth lab.

Well I found it pretty funny, especially Cartman's slow-mo gunplay.

It started off strong, but ran out of steam for me halfway through. Poking fun of the Lethal Weapon-type cliches is played out... both Loaded Weapon and Last Action Hero covered that ground 10 years ago. The interrogation and their super-gory theories were funny though, as were Kenny's sketches.

I loved how children kept shooting their fake guns at the drug dealers.

"No Kenny, it's doesn't go 'Pih-que', it goes 'BANG-BANG-BANG'!"

The only thing I didn't like was how they used the same jokes to break up the meth lab as they used in the Crazy Cripples episode when Timmy and Jimmy took out the Bloods.

Oh yeah, I love Kenny's hair!

Did I see a continuity error with Cartman's hat when they were in the locker room?

It seemed that the scenario with the older couple was a reference to Laci Peterson. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but still...

Did you overhear the meth boss mentioning the lab that Kenny's parents ran?

Wasn't the kid that loss her doll named like Sarah Peterson. Everytime they played the rock music I kept thinking of the Shield.

I saw that too.

Is this the first time we've seen the four of them hat-less at the same time?

Well, because of the continuity error, we didn't even see it last night.

When Cartman and Kenny took their hats off, Kyle and Stan still had theirs on. When the showed Kyle and Stan without theirs, Cartman was wearing his again. I feel like the biggest dork in the world disecting continuity errors concerning a fourth graders stocking cap in a cartoon. This ends here.

Yeah. Good spoof on CSI when they described the crimes.

Butters was great though.

The first half of the episode had me saying WTF, because it played out like a Little Rascals short. Not a classic, but still funny. The part that had me laughing the hardest is when the meth lab blew up and one guy ran out screaming.

"Huh huh, we're gay, huh."

Honk!

Average episode IMO. Basically two jokes in the whole thing - Butters and cop-spoof.

I liked the hand signals bit.

Kenny didn't die this episode! Was it supposed to be ironic with all the gunfire going on around them?

And in regards to the caps, Kenny and Cartman had theirs off in the locker room, but while in the showers, Kyle, Stan, and Cartman had their caps off...but Kenny was nowhere to be found.

That gag is over. Kenny hasn't been killed yet this season.

Yeah, I noticed that this time too. Cartman's hat is on-off-on-off. Wierd. I wonder if that was intentional for some reason.
