Anyone have the Polk RM6600 (or 6700) speakers ?
The reviews I read suggest they are good but they look kinda puny.
I'll probably be be getting a Denon 1803 Receiver and was wondering if these would be a good first set of speakers to get ?
Thanks

I've got the 6600s in my bedroom. True they are small, but they're pretty heavy and IMO are about the best you'll get in this price range. Put it this way, they're loud enough to piss my wife off.

My livingroom is only 13 X 16 ft so would these be good enough if powered by the Denon 1803 ?
I was also looking at Sony's speakers (like the SA-VE535 series). They look nice but do they make the grade as far as sound goes ?
Thanks

They should work fine in your living room. I had the 6600's for about a year in my condo which has a similar sized living room and I had plenty of sound!
I actually traded up at Circuit City for the 7500's because it cost me next to nothing. (If you buy at Circuit City, you get the full value for a trade-in within one year of purchase.) I was happy with the 6600's though.
