If you have kind of weird taste in music, you should check out Rhino Handmade anyway. They might have something you've been looking for forever (the only one I have so far is Devo: Recombo DNA, which is all alternate takes and live takes and unreleased tracks, and is great).

I have one Rhino Handmade album: a single CD of Loudon Wainwright III's first two albums. It's rather good.

And I've heard through fansites that RH is pretty much the best bet The State's unreleased comedy CD has (I've already sent one request e-mail for it). I hope they release that someday. It's such a shame that it was recorded, but never put out.

Thanks for the heads up on this label. Didn't know they had this "Handmade" offshoot.

I've recorded my Rank and File vinyl to disc. The quality of the original albums were so good that I'm happy with what I recorded already.
