I'm curious to know where everyone falls

I've tried four out at a time but they seem to stack up on me more this way, so I've been doing three for a year or so and been quite happy with it.

I change mine all the time... I'm at five right now.

What I really need to do is thin out my queue:

You have 308 movies in your Rental Queue.
You've rated 1357 movies. Rate More!

:D

-eek- I thought I was bad

You have 128 movies in your Rental Queue.
You've rated 2322 movies. Rate More!

Of course this is down for 150 or so at the beginning of the year. Currently I'm at 8 out but I'm about to drop that down to 3 again so I can catch up on those I'm been buying.

I'm grandfathered in for four at a time.

I'm at 5 now. However, I've noticed that they started sending them out slower since I changed plans a couple months ago. Has anyone else noticed this? I'll be lucky to get a turnaround of 7 a week on the 5 plan. It used to be about 7 also on the 3 plan. Anyone else noticed this?

I'm at the three at a time plan. I'll up it to 5 when summer hits and the reruns kick in.

As for the queue, I've got around 175. Keep trying to slim it down, but can't find any to do away with.

I've rated around 1500, just those that I've seen.

I just did up it to 5 for the first time. I'll have to wait and see which I like better.

I'm also grandfathered in for four at at time.

My queue is at just under 200, but really needs to be thinned out because a lot of it consists of movies I already own. :D

So far I've only rated 421, don't really bother with it.

I used to rate things religiously until I realized how stupid the suggestion system really is... I'd click on a movie that was rated 4-stars only to find that the actual rating is 1.2-stars but Netflix "thought" I would rate it 4 stars. Most of these movies are utter crap that I wouldn't even give 1 star to...

I knew the system was messed when they added the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine discs and assumed that I'd only give them 1 star. How the system determined that (when I've given the highest possible rating to just about every Star Trek disc released) is beyond me. After rating 1500+ titles, the system still doesn't have the slightest clue what my interests are... ;)

... same here. I wish there was an easy way to turn off the suggestion star ratings, and only see what all users rate it. That seems a lot more useful to me

I've only been with Netflix for 2 months so I'm on the 3/$15.99 extended trial. I might go to 5 when it runs out, but it seems that lately it's taking longer for them to ship out, so I'm not sure yet.

And I thought I was a weirdo for having 157 in my queue. Glad to see there's others.:)

I'm at 3 at a time. When summer rolls around I'll probably bump up to 5.

I do 3/week x 4, and get around 12 a month. Compare to what block buster charges me for the same number of movies, it's a > 50% discount. 3 out is fine w/ me.

I'm at 5 at a time.

37 movies in queue (half of which is on long or very long wait)
140 movies rated (I lost interest in rating months ago)

I've only been with them since September 2002. My turn around is pretty quick, but the Gaithersburg, MD dist center is only 30 miles down the road.
